About Lila
Care rooted in experience, compassion, and respect.
For more than 11 years, I've had the privilege of supporting families through some of their most vulnerable, beautiful, and exhausting moments.
Hi, I'm Lila.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and the beautiful, exhausting transition of welcoming a new baby.
My work has grown to include postpartum care, infant sleep support, and owning and operating a doula agency—but the heart of what I do has always remained the same:
Helping families feel cared for, confident, and supported during a season when so much is changing.
I understand how personal it is to invite someone into your home during the postpartum period. My goal is to be a calm, reassuring presence—someone you can trust with your baby, turn to with questions, and lean on when you simply need to rest.
I’m here to offer experience and guidance while always respecting the way you choose to parent.
Because you know your baby best.
Why I Created Lila Motherhood
From my experience, I’ve learned that the best postpartum care isn’t about walking into someone’s home and telling them the “right” way to care for their baby.
It starts with listening.
Every baby is different. Every parent is different. And every family deserves support that respects their values, preferences, and the way they want to raise their child.
I created Lila Motherhood because I wanted to provide postpartum care that feels personal again—care built around the family rather than asking the family to fit into a particular method.
I’ll bring my experience, offer guidance when you want it, and help you understand your baby along the way. But I will always respect that you are the parent, and you know your baby best.
My role is to support you—not replace your instincts.

Your baby. Your family. Your choices.
Experienced guidance without judgment, pressure, or a one-size-fits-all approach.
Experience You Can Feel Confident In
Inviting someone into your home—and trusting them with your newborn—is a big decision. Experience matters.
With more than 11 years in birth and postpartum support, I bring extensive hands-on experience caring for newborns and supporting parents as they recover, adjust, and find their rhythm.
My background includes professional doula training, postpartum and newborn care, infant sleep support, overnight care, and previous experience owning and operating a doula agency.
But experience has taught me something equally important:
Sometimes the best support isn’t doing more. It’s noticing what a family needs and quietly making things easier.

And I’m a Mom, Too.
Professional experience has taught me a tremendous amount about babies.
Motherhood has taught me something different.
As a mother of four, I understand how beautiful and demanding this season can be—the interrupted sleep, the mental load, the second-guessing, and the feeling that everyone needs something from you at the same time.
It’s one of the reasons I care so deeply about supporting the parent, not just caring for the baby.
Because sometimes what a new mother needs most isn’t another piece of advice.
Sometimes you need someone to say, “I’ve got this. Go rest.”
You Deserve to Feel Supported, Too.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before your baby arrives—and you don’t have to figure it all out alone afterward.
Whether you need a few hours of support during the day, someone you trust caring for your newborn overnight, or guidance as your baby begins finding their rhythm with sleep, we’ll create support around what your family actually needs.
Rest for baby. Support for you.
